Have you heard? I'm going to Portland tonight. The weather seems to have calmed down (not much of a snow storm, really) and tonight I fly away to my former home. I am totally thrilled at just the thought of all the fun I'll have!  I have many a dear friend to see, a birthday to celebrate, an ocean to reconnect with and likely a LOT of craft beer to consume. Besides Powell's and Stumptown, here are just a few things I plan on doing in the 4 days I'm there:

Freaking Out Over: Dedon Nestrest

I have been freaking out over these for quite some time, but was reminded of them again as I sit here thinking about my mister who is a tad far away at the moment. The Dedon Nestrest: the stuff dreams are made of. It is my goal to become a millionaire with the express purpose of having these all over my house...and above my stream...and in my yard...and probably one at the office. Designed by French duo Daniel Pouzet and Fred Frety.

I am in Portland, Oregon visiting some very dear friends of mine at this very moment. I am, in all likelihood, in a state of utter euphoria.

My gent is on his way to Norway for two weeks at this very moment and it isn't so much that I am going to miss him terribly (which I will), but more that I wish I could be there to experience the beauty with him.
